Ashland County -City Health Department Promotes Prescription Assistance Program for Insured and Uninsured Ashland County Reside

Ashland, Ohio, November 15, 2016 - The Lake County Medicine Assistance Program allows for insured and uninsured individuals the ability to receive needed medications at a highly reduced price. Once limited to Lake, Geauga, and Ashtabula counties, assistance is now open to Ashland and other Ohio county residents, insured or uninsured, who have income up to 300% of the federal poverty level ($72,900 yearly income for a family of four.) Prescriptions are filled by mail order and the process to enroll begins by calling 440-352-1999 or visiting www. ashlandhealth.com to print the forms.
